BRADFORD UNITED CHURCH WOMEN
UNITED CHURCH WOMEN EXECUTIVE FOR 2022
   Gwen Green - President      Secretary - Barb Weber        Cheryll Strong - Treasurer

Picture
Ours is a small but mighty group of women friends who meet the first Monday of the month at 7 pm., in the Irene Turner Hall at the church. Masks are mandatory and social distancing is practiced.

We also have a group of dedicated quilters who meet Wednesday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 pm..  (To see quilts for sale go to Congregational Life - Quilting Group)

Our meetings consist of a time of fellowship, a short worship service and a speaker or a fun activity or craft.

The UCW does fundraising for the group and for the Church as a whole.  Some of the funds raised are given to support our charities which include the Rainbows Programme, Sleeping Children Around the World, Helping Hands Foodbank, Plan Canada, Ronald McDonald House, Southlake Regional Health Centre and Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada.
The UCW collects:
Stamps, eye glasses, milk bags, aluminum tabs, used batteries and dried up pens and markers.  Everyone's help is appreciated.
Our Vision
As United Church Women we believe:

that as Christian women of faith, we nurture spirituality by reaching out with commitment and devotion to all God's people;

in promoting truth, justice, peace, caring and sharing with respect for all in the community and wider world;

in loving God and others by living generously and giving joyfully; and,

in affirming and strengthening ourselves creatively in study and witness through music, laughter and solitude.

Bradford UCW Purpose

To unite women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.
